Hey - I am a 36 yr. old single man (in 2006). I enjoy cooking very much. I live in rural NW Ohio, and have gained cooking traditions from my grandmothers. I enjoy cooking for crowds (and have cooked for as many as 200). I am a United Methodist, and a youth leader. I love photography and travel, too. I like to cook anything. I have recently been teaching myself how to make pies. It has been fun! My family has a Dutch/German heritage, so it is fun to learn to cook all that stuff! My family were farmers, also. So I enjoy learning how to do all the canning, etc. Anytime someone says, "oh, that's good" or "can I have the recipe"? That is a triumph! Cooking (to me) is about the people and times/experiences shared...good food just is the seasoning to those experiences. Well, we just try to learn from those and move on. That is part of the fun of cooking. Let's just say I've had a lot of fun! :)
