About this Cook
Hi Fellow Foodies: I am married to a great guy almost 21 years. We are having fun raising our four teen age boys. I have enjoyed making so many wonderful meals from All Recipes. Also getting lots of good ideas and suggestions from the Recipe Exchange.
My favorite things to cook
I will attempt to cook about anything. I like to try different things all the time. Lately I've been into making breads and rolls.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas we do a 'Progressive Dinner' with all the aunts/uncles, etc...Each home hosts part of the meal, giving the hosts an opportunity to show off their cooking skills and their holiday decorations.
My cooking triumphs
Getting dinner on the table every night!
My cooking tragedies
Way too many to count....

Cheesy Ranch Potato Bake
Was a very yummy & easy side to our grilled bugers. I agree with many of the other reviewers & think the butter can be cut down on some without sacrificing flavor. I used a mixture of jack cheese, sharp cheddar and american cheese. Perfect for a large group---could easily be kept warm in a crock pot.

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast
Really, really tasty & super easy. Served with mashed potatoes, butternut squash & homemade applesauce for an awesome fall meal.

Fabulous Roasted Cauliflower Soup
This was pretty good....but, seemed kind of bland. I missed having cheese with my cauliflower :). Next time I think I'd add some shredded cheese on top.
