Rachel's Tomato Basil Soup
This is delish. I made it every week last summer with basil from my backyard. It is very forgiving - I know because I often get the measurements or order of events wrong. It still tastes great. When basil isn't growing outside, we just use jarred pesto. Mmmmm.

Hearty Italian Sandwiches
Very good. I used ground turkey instead of beef. Also, I didn't have green bell peppers, so I used red and yellow. This is a winner.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup
We're never going back to the canned stuff. Restaurant quality soup, as written. A great way to use the basil growing in the backyard. Delicious with organic tomato juice.
