Tomato Pie I
Very good. I did not peel the tomatoes. Left out the crushed red pepper. I have used used either cheddar or mozzarella or mixture of both. Drained tomatoes while I was preparing pie crust. Baked pie crust for 10 mins before filling.

Tomato Bacon Pie
Very Good. I sliced the tomatoes and let them drain while I prepared the rest. I layered onion , tomatoes, bacon, cheese and repeated the layer. I spread mayo on top and then sprinkled parmesan cheese. I have made it with just mozzarella cheese or just Cheddar or combination of both.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie
Excellent recipe. Next time I will make 1 1/2 times the filling. My pie pan might have been a 10" rather than 9". I like lots of filling. Meringue- I added 1/4 tsp cream of tartar to it. I made the meringue before the filling as one person suggested. The meringue didn't hold such stiff peaks when put on the pie. It wasn't a hot day but maybe with the oven on it was a little warm for it. Next time I will beat it while the filling is cooking. I used 2 rather large lemons which yeilded about 1/2 cup juice. Very tasty.
