I grew-up cooking quite a bit as the oldest of 4 children. So, after I got married, cooking each night for the two of us wasn't that difficult. That was 6 years ago though. Since then, we've added two more to our family. I stay at home with our two beautiful children, a 3 year old girl, and handsome baby boy. I cook atleast 5 times a week unless my children keep me too busy being Mom. Fortunately, my husband grew up with 7 brothers and sisters, so he certainly did his share of cooking as well. He's always willing to help out in the kitchen when I need him. I love being a wife and mother, and woudldn't change it for anything. Afterall, isn't family what's most important? I think so.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are meals that are quick and simple, but most importantly, healthy. Dessert takes care of the unhealthy part of the dinner. I'm also a big experimenter. I'm not afraid to try new foods, and I rarely measure my ingredients. There might be the rare occasion that something doesn't turn-out great, but the next time I try it, it always works out. I also enjoy making dishes up. For instance, I just made up this casserole last night that tasted awesome. I think I might actually submit it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Typically we will join our own families for holiday dinners since they are both only 20 minutes away from us. But, I do enjoy making up treat baskets for our friends at Christmas. I really like chocolate and nuts during that time of year, so I usually make something that includes atleast one of those ingredients. My daughter and I will also make cookies to share with our friends... and of course... Santa!

My cooking tragedies
I really don't have too many. I guess my only tragedies would be those rare times that I've experiemented and the ingredients didn't work quite well with one another. Then of course, there are those times when I get distrated by the children, and well,... I'm sure every mother is familiar with what happens in those situations.
