At 25 years, I've been married and cooking for 4. I'm an RN, and absolutely love what I do as an ICU nurse in a major hospital in Minneapolis.
My favorite things to cook
I really like to cook well-rounded, delicious meals. Fish, chicken, pork and beef. I look for recipes that I can use together to make the kind of meal you go to restaurants to enjoy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I really have none, thus yet. No kids of my own. My mother's guidance as a kid in her kitch has probably the greatest infulence on me in my own kitchen today.
My cooking triumphs
Every meal I make that I'm satisfied with, I consider a triumph.
My cooking tragedies
I once melted half of a huge block of Velveeta, added some chicken and broccoli and tossed spiral pasta into it...it was terrible. My husband said he'll never eat Velveeta again, and I've sinced moved on to more healthy and whole ingredients.
