About this Cook
I enjoy a lot of things! Cooking (obviously), excercising, and computers.
My favorite things to cook
I really enjoy cooking anything. However, I really like to work with chicken breasts and a good steak.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We like to cook healthy and use fresh ingredients. Fresh is always the best way to go!
My cooking triumphs
Perfecting crepes! Yummy
My cooking tragedies
I still shy away from cooking whole chicken and turkey. I consider this a tragedy because they are so great and my mother and grandmother are brilliant when it comes to that kind of thing.

Baked Potato Soup
I loved this soup! I ended up using some ham from the night before and cut it up into small cubes, which worked great. My whole family loved it and I'm going to make it my staple potato soup recipe for sure!

Teriyaki Chicken
This recipes ended up being a bit too salty for me. However the rest of the family loved it! I think I would cut down on the soy sauce a bit and probably change the sugar to be brown sugar like the other people suggested next time.

Fried Rice II
This recipe turned out excellent, my family loved it and my husband asked for seconds...which is always good! I did end up adding about a tbsp more of soy sauce, simply because our family likes a bit more flavour. However I think it needed something else, so next time I'm going to try some garlic and maybe cumin or some other spices.
