Crunchy Romaine Toss

one of my favorite salads of all time. i did brown the walnuts with the ramen noodles. and i reduced the amount of olive oil (just because). it was wonderful.

this was good...and modifications made if fantastic!! sauteed onion and garlic...then followed the recipe except for the chicken. i added asparagus and more tomatoes. served with grilled chicken on the side. super tasty!

hummmm...i followed all directions and the suggestions in other reviews. i love all of these ingredients so i thought it was a sure thing....but it was a miss. fairly flavorless.

Sour Cream Apple Pie I

i cannot stand to rate recipes poorly...but...the apples were crunchy not soft. and i even cooked it a few minutes longer. i had to cover the apples after the first 15 minutes as they started browning on top. i did like the way that the pie was firm to slice and presented neatly. the flavor was ok. but the crunchiness of the apples, not so much...

Chicken and Mushroom Saute

hummm...i don't get it, this was bland and boring. i want to say something good about it, but.... i pounded the chicken to make sure it was tender...and it was. i did not have parsley, but would really make it that much better? it was just a bland sauce with mushrooms...mixed with chicken.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

a seriouls good loaf! i cut this receipe in thirds because i only had 2 bananas and it made one good size loaf. and delicious. i would have liked a tad sweeter. and since i will be saving this recipe to make again, i will do just that. thanks!

White Bean Chicken Chili

are you kidding me? this is fantastic! i used fresh tomatillos and a can salsa verde instead of the chilis. also used canned corn in lieu of fresh. this was great. leftovers tonight with a cheese quesadilla on the side....yummmm!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

yummmm...i was out of fresh garlic, so, i melted the butter, brushed on the chicken and sprinkled with garlic powder. basically followed the rest of the directions and it was great! thanks.

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

this is perfectly amazing. add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh raspberries and it is even better. very easy and very fast. i baked a few minutes less. thanks!

Blue Cheese and Pear Tartlets

this was a super easy recipe....and i liked them. i wish i had read the reviews beforehand. i would have added more pears and some candied walnuts or pecans. it needed a little more sweetness to balance the blue cheese. overall, really good.

Glazed Meatloaf II

the meatloaf itself was delicious. i substituted cornflakes for the bread because that is what i have always done...but the sauce....left much to be desired. too too sweet...back to the old tried and true with stewed tomatoes on top!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

a serious, dance around the room kind of pound cake. moist and, allow me to be trite, delicious. we loved this pound cake...thinking about adding mini chocolate chips to up the calorie and fat counts....because at this point....who really cares? everyone should try a slice of this....it really is that good! thanks.
