Turkey Breakfast Sausage

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
so much healthier than those at the market. easy to make and great as written. Much better with a little extra sage and the rubbed is stronger than the dried leaves. I like a little red pepper flakes too. You can take this any way you want to suit your taste or leave as is for delicious, healthy sausage. Thanks for the guidance!

Peach Cobbler for Two

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2011
I really enjoyed making (and eating) this recipe. I used the AR calculator to double it and the end product was just right. My pan was 1.5qt and it was the perfect size for the doubled recipe. Crusts are sometimes a challenge for me but this one was so simple and just the right type for a cobbler. Per other reviews I credit the orange peel for giving it a little something special so I would also recommend not leaving it out. Looking forward to trying it with apples and mixed fruit in the future but it is a winner with the peaches for sure! Thanks for the recipe.

Homemade Italian Turkey Sausage

Delicious! Easy to make. Cooks well as patties on the grill for buns. Personal preference calls for some red pepper flakes as well.

Mom's Turkey Sausage Patties

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
Who would have thought making a great breakfast sausage could be so easy? This is delicious and so much better for one than the store bought version--not to mention the cost savings. I made it exactly by recipe the first time and have since been following the trend to double the spices, adding some sage as well. These patties freeze well so next time turkey is on sale--go for it! Thanks for a delicious money saving recipe!

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2011
Great pan pizza and an easy weeknight meal! Easy to adjust the meat to suit your tastes such as using turkey sausage or any of the many other variations found in groceries today. Thank God for these reviews as well. The pizza crust from TJ is perfect and prebaking it was key to it turning out so nicely. Also dusting with cornmeal in a cast iron skillet was right on. The pie held together well when cutting to serve. Will make again, probably will fresh tomatoes, oregano and garlic next time, would probably put it over the top! Don't leave out the fennel seeds either. Great recipe, Jaime!

Chicken Stuffed Peppers with Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
Just great! Easy to make and hard to forget, you will want this again and again. The peppers I found were about 6 inches and that would have made 6 rather than the stated 4 peppers. The recipe makes quite a bit of sauce so if you also find smaller peppers I would half the sauce. And that sauce!!! Just delicious. Next time I will cut down the pepper a little as I used red chili pepper and I could tell my guests thought it a little too hot. One other thing, I found the recipe a little confusing about the amount of chocolate, but I used 2 squares of Ghiradelli b/s choc which was 1 ounce and it was absolutely perfect. Will make this again soon, thanks for a wonderul addition to the Mexican collection, Kevin!

Gorgonzola Stuffed Chicken Breasts Wrapped in Bacon

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
thought this would be my new fav but guess not. I followed the recipe though precooked the bacon a little as others suggested and that is a good idea. The cooking time was just right for my chicken but I found the shallots way too strong for the cheese. I will make it again and use green onions with blue cheese for a better balance of taste. I cooked it on a rack in a shallow pan and used the convection oven for the entire cooking time. Overall this has great potential, just needs a little help (imho).

Sour Cream Chicken Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
not a big fan of quiche, always looking for one I would like and this is it! Though I only used half the nutmeg, followed it the rest of the way. Actually made 2 and froze the second one. After thawing it cooked up beautifully with same cooking time as written. Good flavors and taste, may vary and add a little more spice next time. thanks for sharing this recipe.

Moroccan Lentil Soup

one of the best vegetarian soups, easily a main meal. Very aromatic and just the right spice and heat. Used 4 cups chix broth/2 cups water and was generous with the spices based on reviews. Turned out great and will make again and again. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

Turkey Tetrazzini II

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
Great use of leftovers! Easy to make and this recipe fills a 9x13 pan so be ready. You control the creaminess of the sauce by cooking longer or less for thicker or thinner sauce. Easy to tweak to your taste, second time around I added ground mustard, asiago cheese, white pepper and bread crumb topping. Thanks for this great recipe!

Thai Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
Loved this recipe. The sauce really makes it, perhaps it is the different fish sauces out there that make a difference, but it was perfect to me. I would recommend using the larger, buffalo wings. I put the oven on convection the last 10 minutes to really crisp up the wings. Served with Restaurant Style Fried Rice from this site. Most delicious dinner and nice change up at home!

Amy's Delicious Turkey Burgers

easy and the best turkey burger on the site! the cheese crackers had me wondering but they were perfect to hold it all together and give a great taste. Nice bite with the red pepper so if you prefer it mild you may want to cut back a little there, otherwise take it as is and enjoy!

Comfort food at its best! Use about 1.5 lbs beef though and shape them into loaves, otherwise you will not have enough they are so good. I feel the sherry is most important as it give an usua great taste. Over garlic mashed, hart to beat! Thanks

10 stars! This is one great recipe as evidenced with all these positive ratings. Grape tomotoes or just plain grapes are also good. Could eat this every week, best chicken salad you will make. Using rotisserie chicken makes it an easy, fast go to. Thanks for this delicious recipe.

Fish Tacos

My favorite sauce for fish tacos though I prefer to cook the fish with a little spicy seasoning on an indoor grill rather than beer batter it. Delicious either way I am sure. Try this, it is great.

Irish Chicken and Dumplings

followed recipe exactly the first time and found it to be most tasty stew, but quite thick and little room for the dumplings. Okay by me though, next time I just threw the whole thing in the crock pot and served with hot from the oven biscuits! Delicious and hearty. Thanks.
