Cheeseburger Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
My family and I really enjoyed this. I crock potted my meal. I let the hamburger cook in the crock pot, then drained fat, added the soup and water, then the noodles the last 30 minutes ( I also used egg noodles) and then threw in some shredded cheese. Will make again on a busy day.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
Very tasty!! I added ranch, omitted the celery because my family does not like it, used red onions, added seasonings, and shredded cheese. Very good, like one review had stated, it was like a baked potato salad. YUMM! Will make again in the future.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
I really enjoyed this recipe for salmon. I am lucky because I get to go down the road and catch salmon and bring it home and clean it and cook it up. I live in Alaska. I am constantly looking for more recipes for salmon. I may add some mayo to this recipe when used in the future. I too used italian breadcrumbs instead of regular.

Applesauce Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
This was SUPER moist, so moist I thought it was not done cooking. I omitted the nuts and raisins because I like neither. I also used cinnamon applesauce and topped with powdered sugar. My 3 year old enjoyed helping in on this recipe!

Baked Bar-be-que Chicken

Very nice. I added the garlic, some curry powder, parsley flakes, and salt and pepper to the initial baking. Removing the grease to add the BBQ sauce is a great idea!!! Thanks! Next time I will use teriyaki.

Pennsylvania Coal Region Barbecue

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
it was pretty good, but not a huge hit. I added garlic salt and curry powder. I also added frozen corn to the mixture which added a nice crunch. I served on whole wheat buns with shredded colby jack cheese. The brown sugar added a nice sweetness to it, but I think next time I will cut back to 1/2-1 tablespoon.

OOhh, I so loved this recipe. I had to work with what I had on hand. I used egg noodles, cheddar cheese soup mix, milk, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, and chopped onions and added shredded colby jack cheese.

These were delish! They turned out perfect. I only added half the butter, and melted it and drizzled on top. I also added dried parsley flakes to the ritz cracker mixture.

Cheeseburger Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2008
These were really good. I OF COURSE did not let the dough rise long enough before I filled and baked them. My family was hungry. So next time I will make the dough in advance. My 3 year old loved them and my Husband said they reminded him of calazones. I will put pizza ingredients in them next time, or as others suggested, ham and cheese.

Terry's Favorite Easy Chicken Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
Excellent! Definite comfort food. Here are the changes I made. I marinated my chicken in buttermilk, then sauteed and cubed. I used 1 can of condensed chicken and mushroom soup, added 1/3 cup of buttermilk to the mixture. I only had fresh carrots on hand so I cut and boiled them and added frozen peas. I used the entire 8 oz of cream cheese.

Pork Tenderloin alla Napoli

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
THIS RECIPE WAS AMAZING!!!!!! It is by far the best recipe I have made from this site!!! I did alter it a bit though. I marinated the pork in buttermilk for 15 minutes before cooking. I forgot to brown the pork in oil, and browned it without it. When I made the sauce I used the heavy cream and a little bit of buttermilk. THAT MADE THE SAUCE SOOOOOOOO AMAZING!! I RECOMMEND ADDING THE BUTTERMILK IN THIS RECIPE!!!!!!! Thank you and will make always!!!

Indian Chicken Curry I

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2008
Good! First time making curry. I only had the powder spices for cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon, so I added a teaspoon of each. I added 3 tablespoons of curry, and a can of tomato paste. I served over rice. Husband did not like it very much because he has no appreciation for an abundance of flavor, so poo on him!
