About this Cook
I am a stay at home mom to a 9 year old. I love trying out new recipes and tweeking them to my families liking.
My favorite things to cook
I like Sticky Chicken, because it is so easy to fix, and my family loves it. I like cooking anything that tastes great with minimal fuss.

Oven Pot Roast
Delicious! I followed another reviewer's suggestion and added garlic powder and season salt to the flour (I used Accent Season Salt). I also used water instead of vermouth and it still turned out great. I will probably add 1 more can of the mushroom soup next time so there is more gravy. There were no leftovers left after dinner. This is a great recipe!

Chocolate Pretzel Rings
These were very good, I did make a few changes though. I couldn't find pretzel rings in any of my local stores so I used the square (checkerboard) pretzels (found a big bag at the Dollar Tree). I used Hershey's Hugs and regular Kisses (we liked the Hugs better). I ran out of M&M's about halfway through, so I used Reese's pieces for the rest. Yum!

Sugar Coated Pecans
These were excellent. I took the advice of other reviews and used 2 egg whites, 1 T. vanilla extract, and 1 tsp. cinnamon. I also used parchment paper on the baking sheet. I don't even like pecans very much, but I loved these. I'm making these to add to my Christmas baskets this year. Thanks for the recipe.
