I used the reduced fat GRANDS...maybe that was the problem. I used sweet baby rays' like other suggested. They were decent not a five star in my book.

Not at all what I expected...more like "cheesecake cupcakes." I did cheat and use a chocolate cake box mix. I personally did not care for these, but the others did.

Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2008
I didn't give this one 5 stars because I didn't exactly follow the recipe. I only used 3 bonelesss, skinless chicken breasts with the soy, ginger and garlic like the recipe stated. I used an Asian variety fozen veggie bag from Birds Eye. After I stir fried the chicken, I added the bag of forzen veggies and a little less than 1/2 can of low sodium chicken broth. I stir fried that for about 10 minutes, just enough to warm the veggies. We loved it. Thanks for the recipe!!

Pretty darn good! I followed the recipe exactly except for using skinless chicken breasts. Also, I think that the baking time needs to be decreased, the chicken turned out somewhat dry! Enjoy this one!!!

I followed the recipe exactly and was not at all impressed! It was edible, but the ketchup flavor was too evident. If I make this again, I will follow others advice and skip the ketchup. Goodluck!

Apple Cake III

I used a spice cake mix and almost 2 cans of apples. It took longer to cook than what was stated. I used some advice from others and cut up the apples before mixing them with the dry cake. I received compliments on the cake, but to me, it wasn't a 5 star recipe.

Soooooooo rich!! I only used 1 egg to make the brownies fudgey. I also had to add a bit of milk to the frosting. Otherwise, when I make brownies I will be using this recipe and not Betty Crockers!!

I used others advice and used brown sugar instead of white for the topping...also butter for the topping MUST be at room temperature. This made 12 regular size muffins. Will use this one again!

Better Than Sex Cake II

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2007
I have made this several times with the following changes...once the cake comes out of the oven, poke holes with the end of a wooden spoon, then pour the milk (almost the entire can) and caramel (almost the entire jar), let cool then put into the fridge. Spread the whipped topping and then sprinkle the toffee candy on top. I can usually find pre crushed Heath bars at my local Walmart Supercenter. That way all of th ecandy pieces are the same size.
