This went into our weekly meal rotation, which is saying a lot. I mean every single week we eat this now. We buy frozen shrimp at our local warehouse club and defrost under running cold water. Great with bowtie alfredo pasta and grilled zucchini or steamed veggies.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Awesome recipe. I tried about a dozen corn bread recipes: Jiffy muffin mix, cake mix kinds, the ones on the back of corn meal mixes, and a couple more on this site. THIS is by far the best. My picky foodie husband LOVES it.
