Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

This was super awesome. I used blueberries, apples, strawberries and kiwi and apricot jam. I did not add any sugar and it was plenty juicy and sweet. I made the chips, which took a very long time. It should be said that Stacy's chips are pretty expensive; however, if you're not making this for a large group buy the chips! However, the amount of chips you need to go with the amount of salsa is pretty large. My husband also decided that the chips were awesome with hot fudge and vanilla ice cream (sort of like a sopapilla a la mode!).

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

This is sooooo good. I made a healthier version by using chicken sausage and turkey bacon, and it still tasted great. The texture of the turkey bacon wasn't as good as regular bacon, but it still had a great flavor. If you like a thicker soup, use more potato, but the consistency we got from following the recipe was just like the restaurant version. Yum!

Champagne Punch III

This was awesome, as all the reviews said! We had it for a holiday party, and everyone loved it. Even the guys. We had to use cranberry apple juice instead of just cranberry because that's all they had at the store, and it still tasted great.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

This is a great, easy way to make turkey. I used 4 sticks of butter under the skin because I had a 20 lb bird. I bake this in an oven bag instead of covering with foil and add Lipton's onion soup mix to the bag before adding chicken broth. I also add some thyme and rosemary to the butter before putting it under the skin. I've made this as the recipe calls as well as with my additions, and it is awesome either way!

Chicken, Feta Cheese, and Sun-Dried Tomato Wraps

These were yummy. We made it with a vinaigrette dressing, which made it overall pretty tart (with the feta and sun-dried tomatoes) but we liked it! I made extra chicken and didn't mix it all in so that this could easily be made 1 wrap at a time to take for lunch or have as a quick dinner.

Spicy Chicken Curry Soup

This was soooo good. We made it with half the chicken broth also because I thought it would get too watery. I thought we had carrots, but I was wrong. So I cut half a yellow onion into strips and sauteed that instead with the garlic. It was just like the curry you get at a thai restaurant. We had this over rice. I also looked at my jar of curry paste, which recommended adding 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Next time I'll probably add the carrots and maybe green peppers. It was so good. We'll definitely be making this again.

Washabinaros Chili

We made this chili for a campout this weekend. It was a hit! I added a little extra beef and sausage because I like my chili really meaty. We also couldn't find a habanero at the store, so we used 3 jalapenos, 2 serranos, and the anaheim chile peppers. It wasn't too hot, but had a nice spiciness to it. I love spicy food, so I'd like to try this with the habanero next time. I was also very surprised that you couldn't really taste the wasabi much. So if you're not a fan of wasabi, try this anyway! It's really delicious! We used Smithwick's as the dark beer. Yum.

Shepherd's Pie VI

I also made this, adding brown gravy and worcestershire to the meat before doing layers. I used frozen peas and carrots in the veggie layer. So, making a couple of modifications I give this recipe 5 stars. Without those modifications I think it would have been kind of bland. It was really delicious, though.

Bean Quesadillas

These quesadillas are really yummy. I made a fun design with some sriracha on top to give them some heat. Really tasty! You can really do a lot with this recipe.

Spicy Roasted Edamame

Tried this today to have as a snack. I may have done something wrong, but it was like eating cold beans covered in some spices. I may try this again as a side dish instead of cooling to have as a snack. I would definitely add some heat next time - maybe some cayenne.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Elegant Pork Loin Roast

I made this in a crockpot cooking on low for 8 hours. I added all of the ingredients from the start, which worked fine. I think next time I will still wait to add the fruit mix until the last hour because the fruit dissolved and made a more pruney gravy. Either way, it was delicious and I will definitely be making it again.

Raspberry-Glazed Rosemary Chicken

This was pretty yummy. I also added some extra honey mustard to tone down the sweetness a little bit. We served it with couscous, which went perfectly with the sweetness of the chicken since it was kind of salty.

Barbie's Tuna Salad

I made this today and had it on a sandwich with a little bit of lettuce. It was sooooo good. The added spices give it just the touch it needs to make a boring lunch exciting.
