I'm a happily married woman with two girls. I enjoy trying new recipes but tend to stay away from the casserole and crockpot cooking. I am a foreign language teacher by profession and an avid knitter by hobby. Tough one -- I like to cook a lot of different things! I guess I like to cook things that I wouldn't think of putting together and seeing how the dish turns out. My husband tries anything, which is a great plus! -Potica for Easter (what's Easter without a Slovenian nutroll??) -My grandmother's pretzel recipe (I have to make them every year for our family reunion!!) - Roasts! Somehow, I can't make a decent beef roast to save my life. Any ideas for me?!!
