About this Cook
I make a living working on computers, particularly unix systems. Aside from that, I love to work with my hands in the garden, woodworking, building furniture, remodeling our house, cooking, and caring for my family.
My favorite things to cook
Quick and simple, or long, slow and complex, I don't much care, but I love trying new recipes.
My cooking tragedies
I tried making a tofu stir fry once. I don't know what I did wrong (probably several things), but, it had no flavor, so, I added more and more spices until I ended up with a salty nasty mess, called it quits and ordered a pizza.

Kartoshnik with Cheese and Onions
Delicious side dish for beef dishes. Also good with a hearty vegetable soup!

Pumpkin Ravioli
Great variation from regular raviolis! wasn't too crazy about the pumpkin seed cream sauce, but with another one, it'll be a bigger hit, I think!

Pumpkin Seed Cream Sauce
