I didnt have food coloring, so I used 2 TBL of ketchup and added 3 TBL soy sauce to the sauce. I used the what it called for for sugar and vineger...it was too sweet for me, so I added 1/4 cup more vineger. I also added 1 onion ,cut into 1"...only had AP flour, so I added 1 1/2 teas baking powder and 1/2 salt to flour.thanks for sharing

Kellogg's® Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2009
these are great and easy, I didnt have butterscotch chip on hand, so I DBL the chocolate chips and when melting the chocolate chips I added about 3/4 of a stick to a stick...makes it easy to work with and give it a nice shine to it. I also added 2 TBL butter to the sugar and peanutbutter, keep it from getting hard. I use unsalted butter.
