About this Cook
I have two wonderful grandchildren, 11 year old Granddaughter and a 13 year old Grandson. I enjoy making florals as a hobby, I also have hooked rugs. I love going to craft and art fairs, enjoy homemade items in my home.
My favorite things to cook
Cookies or course, who doesn't like cookies!? I also enjoy trying new recipes for main dishes and deserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Turkey dinner on Thanksgiving, Roast dinner on Christmas and easter. I always make my kids favorite meals if they are in town on their Birthdays.
My cooking triumphs
I can my own taco sauce recipe and everyone seems to like it. This saves a great deal of money on sauce as I use it in my chili and mexican dishes.
My cooking tragedies
I am not great at cakes, probably because I am not much of a cake person, I prefer Pies anyday!!

Quesadillas II
This is a very good basic recipe. I marinated my meat with montreal chicken seasoning, kikkoman teriyaki marinade and sauce and a bit of lemon pepper. I cooked the chicken with all of the marinade and added a bit more Teriyaki towards the end to carmelize the meat a bit. It was really good, DH just loved it. Thankyou for the recipe.

Baked Potato Soup
I made this tonight and it was great, but I turned it into a whole meal. I added mixed veggies, tuna, sherry, chardonay wine, more of the seasoning and some house seasoning. We had it over toast and it was wonderful. This is a great recipe that could be the starter for a pot pie or served over muffins. Thanks for the great recipe!!
