YUMM-O! When I first looked at this recipe, it didn't look like anything special. But, wow it's so delicious! The only things I did differently were add garlic to the onion, and I did half creamed corn (which I've never bought in my life!) Don't tell anyone there are green chiles in this , and they'll be none the wiser, but they'll be asking you what that special kick is !

I made an entire batch yesterday and they are GONE today! I admit, I ate most of them but my 2 year old helped. I am giving this 4 stars because I really think it needs a 2nd egg (which I added). The batter was really dry!! I also recommend making sure you dice your apples pretty fine, mine were a little too big. I put in pecans and did not add raisins. No icing either. I substituted half whole wheat flour, so I wasn't guilty feeding these to my daughter. I think next time I'm going to add some ginger!

I am giving it a 4 because without the changes I made, I don't think it would have been as yummy. I added a heaping handful of brown sugar to the butter/sugar mix..added extra vanilla and a dash of almond extract (totally transformed the flavor of the cake in my opinion) , and also added a few splashes of half and half bc I didnt want the cake to be too dry. I used frozen blueberries and just let them sit in cool water for a while and patted them dry before adding the flour. The cake is SO yummy, especially after adding a little cinnamon to the sugar topping. It created this delicious hard shell on the top. I have a feeling this cake will be even yummier tomorrow!!

Oh.my.goodness. If you are a coconut lover, this is absolute heaven. I only did two small things different. 1) I added half teaspoon of coconut extract, half teaspoon vanilla. 2) I shaved some frozen chocolate on the top. Even without these additions, this pie would have still been great. Oh, and by the way, if it's possible-this is even better the next day. YUMMO !

The flavor was spot on for this pie. However, mine didn't turn out right. I had never made a meringue before, so for me the instructions were not detailed enough. I wasn't sure how long to boil the filling for. But, in the end, the pie was runny and soggy. So, I'm not sure if i cooked it too long or not long enough ? Also, I used a hand mixer for the egg whites, and I seriously beat it for at least twenty minutes. I'm going to have to throw it out. Too bad bc I can tell it's a tasty pie.

Really yummy!!!! Very easy to make. I didn't measure my strawberries bc I know I didn't have enough.. so mine isnt overly strawberry tasting, but still good. I added a little bit of squeezed orange juice from the orange and added about a half teaspoon of orange extract. I also did half whole wheat flour and added 1 motts strawberry applesauce cup (lessened the oil by that much). Added a few white choc chips to some of them and yumm-o !! Bake them 25 mins or so to make them muffins!

Don't get me wrong, this is definately yummy... But, it's a fruit pizza with a white chocolate twist. I don't think, as other reviewers stated, that this was the "best thing ever." I used a pie pan and i definately didn't need all of the crust (which was the best part-a basic shortbread).

Not that this recipe needs another review.. but..... the.best.thing.ever. it should be illegal. (p.s. add half crunchy pb and drizzle melted choc on top and it's even better if that's possible!)

Don't waste your time making this please! It's basically jello on a crust.

we must have done something wrong. The potatoes didnt sit out for more than a couple mins before we mixed it in. i cant explain the taste but it was not good. but bc of all these good reviews, maybe something went wrong at our house.

this was so easy and came out perfect. i had *just* enough for a 10 inch deep pie plate.

I HIGHLY recommend making this about 2-3 days before you plan on serving it. I made it the day before my halloween party, and it was just ok. It didnt have that "bite" i was craving. But, boy, 2 days later, its fabulous!!! And even though graham cracker crust would have been yummy, the shortbread gives it a great texture. I did add about 1/4 cup of sour cream, and lessened the cream by just a little. and i added a few squirts of lemon juice. excellent!!!

I was expecting a real "punch" of flavor with the bread, but I thought it was sort of bland. I made it for my toddler in an attempt to get some good stuff in her. But if youre just looking for something tasty, it needs some sort of glaze or topping!

Nothing spectacular really. The taste was bland and too salty somehow. They fell apart even after chilling. After a party I threw, many were left on the plate. sorry!

This recipe was just ok for me. It was very bland and definately just a tiny version of banana bread. But if youre looking for a mild cake-like cookie that you might have with breakfast (without icing of course) then you will like this recipe. I also have to add that the process of making the dough is new to me. Most cookie recipes will have you beat the butter/sugar and wet ingredients and then incorporate dry ingredients to it. I'm not sure why this recipe wanted you to add two amounts of flour separately, but I just went ahead and mixed it the way i know.

I am only reviewing the icing because i used this to go with banana bread cookies also on this site. I find that there is way too much salt in the icing. I'm not sure i've ever used salt in a icing/frosting before. It was overwhelming. It was also a bit too sweet, and trust me- i like sweet, but this was a little too much!

I feel bad to say that I am not a big fan of this recipe. It had to be cooked way longer (5 plus extra minutes) for the cheesecake to not be soupy, which made the bottom too done. Worst of all, these did not taste cheesecakey enough! if you do decide to make this recipe, you definately need to bring the cream cheese to room temperature. Maybe mini cheesecakes are supposed to take on a different taste compared to a yummy new york cheesecake, which is what i was hoping for. sorry!

After some changes, this stuffing turned out alright. I have to say, I really think the 5 cups of bread crumbs is a misprint. I only put two cups of crumbs and about half a cup extra of chicken broth and it came out fine. Unless you like really dry stuffing, i wouldn't recommend this recipe.

These pretzels are pretty tasty when they first come out of the oven. They do taste just like the big pretzels you get at the mall. The first batch was gone within five minutes ! The kosher salt gives it the extra kick. However, once the pretzels cooled they were rubbery and soft. So if you plan on eating these right away, I would recommend them. If not, maybe half the recipe because you'll end up throwing them away otherwise.
