About this Cook
I'm finally in Atlanta with my Hubby! We got married on October 5th and spent a wonderful week in Jamaica. After that we moved me to atlanta and have been enjoying our time together ever since!
My favorite things to cook
cakes, cookies, desserts, anything chicken, pastas and italian dishes, new and gourmet recipes and lots of quick and easy yummy recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom and I make TONS of cookies at christmas time! And thanksgiving and christmas is always an over abundance of food on the table!
My cooking triumphs
Oh gosh...I hate to brag about myself...I think we all have triumphs and failures. I guess I do pretty good with my cakes and I'm always trying out new recipes that usually turn out ok.
My cooking tragedies
Exotic foods. My Husband and I love to cook and try new things, but every time I try something "unique" we hate it! LOL I've given up on some of the more weird foods of our world...we'll try them in the restaurants(Maybe!)! LOL

Deluxe Sugar Cookies
Very good recipe. I rolled mine to about a 1/4 inch. This made the cookies just right...they weren't too soft or to crunch which is just the way I like them! It also is a very easy dough to handle when you're rolling it out. thats a bonus! I also left out the almond extract and added extra vanilla and they taste wonderful!

Easy Vegetable Soup III
Wonderful recipe! I added a few extra items...black beans, a little bit of italian seasoning, a dash of hot sauce,a bit of garlic and onion powders and I like my soups thick so I added some cornstarch. It is an absolutely wonderful recipe, super easy and was ready to go by the time my grilled chicken was finished! I'll definitely be making this again!

Chicken Enchiladas I
Wonderful recipe! I found it to have great flavor and it was quick and easy which is always a bonus! I always add a little extra spice by way of hotsauce to give it a bit more kick, but it's wonderful on it's own with out adding anything! Enjoy!
