Cream of Asparagus Soup II
made this and used veg broth and evaporated milk. i added a bit of turmeric and cayenne at the end to spice it up. my husband really liked it, and finished his bowl. he's not normally a big soup fan. next time i think i will saute some onion and puree part of the asparagus. i will use a little less flour as well...it was a little on the thick side. great basic recipe, thanks for sharing.

Baklava
i thought this recipe was perfect. i followed the recipe exactly except used light agave nectar in place of the honey. i thought there was plenty of syrup. the bottom of the baklava was not soggy at all. this is so delicious and pretty. this was my first time working with phyllo--the process does take awhile but when you finally get to eat some, it is just heavenly. i used a nut chopper which saves some time and chops the nuts pretty fine which is good for this recipe.

Gravel Salad
mmmm....beans. good recipe but "gravel salad" really doesn't sound appealing. chin chin needs to chill out on the garbanzo bean vs. chickpea terminology. they are both acceptable and interchangeable.
