I love food and I love to cook although I wish I had more time to devote to doing it. I love to make italian sauces and casserole type foods. I like to bake bread and I love anything with an even blend of meat and vegetables, I love comfort food. I like Easter probably the best because I love ham. Frest ham (Pork Roast)w/horseradish and ketchup, w/mashed tata's w/gravy, is the German New Years Day tradition in my family. I have mastered chili con carne - I make the best chili!! I tried to get my recipe on recipes.com but I guess there were too many chili recipes. Once I burned the garlic when making italian sauce and that totally ruined it. Another time I put too much garlic in a soup that i was making and I "garlicked myself", I got so sick from it for about 3 days and I could not get the taste out of my mouth, it was terrible - I've since learned how to work with garlic ;)
