Cake Balls

As written this rates about a 3. I froze them and dipped them in the almond bark. But truthfully these don't appeal to my palette. Mediocre in taste although the presentation was pretty. Almost tasted like a donut and that's not what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing the idea though. I do love to experiment.

Fun Cookie Suckers

These are super fun and even more fun to eat. I made this as written the first time and they were great. I adjusted it a little more for our palette the second time. Added 1/2 cup of sugar and sprinkled the cookie with green and red sugar crystals before baking. Perfect and so pretty. Thank you. This is so much fun.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Deep Fried Jalapeno Slices

Just ok... Easy to make but other than the jalapeno there was no flavor. Also not sure if I should've seeded them or not. I didn't and they took longer than expected to cook all the way through. Thanks anyways....

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

We love it. It doesn't taste like store brand at all and is a perfect compliment for thigh or breast meat. I like to put it close to the broiler for about 5 minutes towards the end of cooking for a crispier taste on the thigh meat. Thanks it's quick, easy, cheapier and delicious. PERFECT!!

Chicken Vegetable Potpie

I love this receipe, thank you. I think it's great as is but of course I gotta try to make it my own a little bit. So I make it with deep dish double crust, double the soup mixture celery/mushroom and add some spice to the mixture. I have a great chicken rub I cook the chicken in and also a dash of celery seed does this receipe some good. It's a wonderful dish for our family... Thank You....

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Well I found out we don't like Tilapia all too well. It has a pugnet flavor and tastes kinda "gamey". I'm rating the topping a 3 because it smothers the fish to an unrecognizable fish taste. I may use this again but will need to tweek it to compliment the fish rather than cover the taste completely. All though I'm glad it covered up the taste of Tilapia. I will definitely use a milder fish withought the "gamey" meat.

Cream Corn Like No Other

This was loved by everyone on Thanksgiving. Everyone was afraid to try it because they hate canned cream corn and thought this would be the same. Everyone was wrong and it was gone as fast as the mashed potatoes. I am already getting requests for this at Christmas. Thanks

Roasted Vegetables

I made these tonight and they were good but not great. I think it was the thyme I disliked. Good blend of vegetables but the thyme was to over bearing for my taste buds. I used fresh rosemary and thyme. I like the vegetable blend but I had to alter the cooking time because my squash was done quicker than my potatoes. I will make this again but will experiment with the spices. Thank you....

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Good chicken receipe. Like others it is really about the cooking method and great results. I seriously don't think it would matter whether you marinate it over night or not. It was good but the rub did not shine through. I rubbed the chicken inside the cavity and outside on the skin. It didn't have a seasoned taste. I love the chicken but giving it 4 stars because I am gonna have to come up with a better rub. Thanks for sharing....

Sloppy Joes II

Very Good... Quick and Easy... I havent made sloppy joes in a long time because that canned stuff is icky. I did a few things different only because I was limited to items on hand. I used red bell pepper and white onion and cooked it down before I added it to the meat. It was great. I also had to use a can of tomato sauce with my ketchup because I didnt have enough. Thanks for the receipe.

Golden Potato Soup

Butternut Squash Bisque

Simply wonderful flavors... I liked it before and I added the heavy cream and also after. Couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Used two shallots (love them) with the onion but that's all I added. Thanks...

Meatball Sandwich

I love these meatballs. It's the first meatball I ever made that held it's shape. They are full of flavor and I use them for sandwich's and in spaghetti dishes. Only thing I change is how big I make them. These are huge meatballs per the receipe. I make them smaller. Thanks
