Pan-Fried Asparagus

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
My husband started eating out of the pan-I tried too. The asparagus was almost gone before dinner was served. My only change was adding parmesan cheese at the end. YUM! YUM!

Very good recipe. I also added equal parts mayo and sour cream. I used real bacon pieces. Much easier and less mess!

Strawberry Delight Dessert Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
Great recipe. Enjoyed by everyone. Preferred by friends and family over my strawberry pretzel dessert--which always gets rave reviews. I did use lite cool whip, light cream cheese and used 1 1/2 cups each heavy whipping cream and equal amount of milk. I also used pre-made graham cracker crust.

Beefy Baked Ravioli

A easy recipe with 5 star rating from both my husband, my son and I also loved it! Used seasoned italian sausage and full bag of ravioli. Will use 9x13" pan next time. I did not have mozarella so used romano, ricotta, parmasean and monteray jack. Will definitely make again.

Chicken, Cheese, and Biscuits

My picky 9 year old loved this. I was very surprised. My husband like it too. Will double the ingredients next time (not the biscuits). Other than that I followed everything except that I used canned instead of fresh mushrooms.

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2007
I made this with the same ingredients and changed only by making in my crock pot. I cooked for 90 min on high and reduced to low for the remainder. My husband thought it was OK--a little sweet. My son enjoyed seconds, however, it was too sweet for me. I will try the shredded pork left over recipe suggested and see how that turns out.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
This was delicious. I am not a meatloaf fan and like many others loved it. I have forwarded this to many of my friends. I put about half of the sauce on top and saved the rest for dipping but the meatloaf was so moist it didn't need any additional sauce. I also put 2 slices of bread on the bottom to absorb the grease. It works wonderful. Used garlic and Tony's creole seasoning as suggested by others. My husband said it was excellent and he isn't a barbecue fan and my 8 year old who has been so pickey lately had seconds. This will definitely be a repeat at our house whenever I'm feeling selfish!

Velveeta® Cheesy Beef Stroganoff

My husband and son loved this recipe. I prepared as directed adding only mushrooms. Next time I would add a TBSP of worchestire and equal amount of ketsup. My son hasn't eaten so much at dinner in a long time.

Classic Reuben Sandwich

Great recipe that we make on occasion when we aren't wanting a big meal. The only thing we do different is serve the thousand island on the side; you can either dip or add between layers just before biting into!

Hash Brown and Pork Chop Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
I cut way back on the onions, and used the advise of others and browned the chops with the onion. I still tasted way too much onion in the pork chops. This recipe tasted like chops in cheesey potatoes to me, however I am giving it 3 stars as my husband did enjoy it (he likes onions more than me). I did layer as suggested and used the worchestire, but we both agreed if we made it again we would marinate the chops longer in possibly Soy or Teriyaki sauce for more flavor in the meat.

Baked Zucchini

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2005
Enjoyed by everyone of us. Even my 7 year old son who we encourage to try, asked for more. He is so exited that he can now brag that he likes another green vegetable! There is plenty of topping for at least 1 large and one small zucchini. I think next time I might try topped with some bread crumbs also.
