Chocolate Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
Absolutely delicious. The only change I made was using splenda instead of sugar and I couldn't even tell in the slightest. It had just enough chocolate and really moist. Thanks for the submission. I will definitely make this again.

Lemon Rosemary Salmon

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
My husband and I enjoyed the this recipe. He had salmon and I had to use chicken since I don't like salmon. I cooked both salmon and chicken in parchment and they both came out fabulously moist and tender per another reviewer's suggestion. I will definitely make this again.

This has to be one of the easiest and delicious soups I have ever made. No need to change a thing. It's perfect as is.

Absolutely the BEST Rich and Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing Ever!

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
What a fabulous and yummy recipe. I followed the recipe to a "T", ok well almost. I used low fat sour cream, nonfat buttermilk, and low fat mayo. This will definitely help cut down on the fat grams and calories and the best part is you can't even tell the difference. From now on, this will be the only blue cheese I will use. Goodbye store bought dressings.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
What an amazing recipe. My husband and I LOVED it. My husband was raving about it the next morning! I kept to the recipe but omitted the celery because I didn't it on hand. At first I was hesitant to use so much wine but I'm glad I did. The end result was a delicious tender pork with tons of flavor and an amazing gravy. The bonus of this dish was the prep time, 5 mins max. WOW and YUM! This is going to be one of my go to recipes for pork tenderloin and I look forward to serving it to guests. This was a definite class act. Thanks for sharing this fabulous recipe.

Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
Mmmmmm! This is a wonderful, moist and flavored bread. I did not change a thing. This will be the only pumpkin bread I will make from now on. The only negative comment I have is that I baked it for 80 minutes instead of 90. The edges got a little burnt after an hour and I kept it from getting worse by covering edges with some aluminum foil. I think it's because I'm baking with a gas stove, something I'm still getting used to after 6 months of having to use one. Regardless, it was wonderful!

Perfect Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2008
Can you say YUM? This dish was wonderful. I thought that it might involve a lot of prep work but it didn't as long as you make sure you have all your ingredients in the order listed before making it. I did have to make a change with using peanut oil instead of olive oil. Olive oil doesn't do well with high heat frying and the peanut oil adds just the right flavor to this delicious Asian concoction. Thanks for sharing!

Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
Wow! This soup was soooooo good. My husband loved it as well as I. I took the suggestion of another reviewer and made a rope out of the meat mixture and make small slices which I then rolled into mini meatballs. This really helped and it only took 10 minutes to roll about 50 of them.

Baked Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
This dish was delicious. I had panko crumbs on hand so I used those instead of the flour. I added 1 tsp ground ginger and garlic powder to the mixture. Per another reviewer, I drizzled honey on chicken as well as butter before cooking. Also 1/2 hour cooking time was perfect. I will definitly mmake this again in the future.

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach Blue Cheese and Bacon

This was a delicious recipe. I used fresh baby spinach and cooked it down in olive oil with a little minced onion, I also added the bacon. To finish it off, I made a garlic, wine and butter sauce and poured it over the chicken after it finished cooking.

Braised Chicken Breasts in Tasty Mirepoix Ragout

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2008
This dish was very good but I found it to be salty. I have cooked with canned chicken broth in the past and haven't found the soup I made overly salty. I think that the longer you cook the chicken broth the more the saltiness comes out. I would make this again but use reduce sodium chicken broth.

Absolute Mexican Cornbread

What a great recipe! I made a few changes based on other reviewers suggestions. I only used 1/2 stick of butter, 1/3 cup of sugar and a whole can of chiles. Also, I didn't have any baking powder so I used self rising flour instead. The end result was fabulous.

Easy and Quick Swiss Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
This dish was very good. I followed other reviewers and tweaked it a bit. I used 2 cans of stewed tomatoes and added 2 beef cubes. In addition, I added a Tbsp. of worchestire sauce. It really helped to kick it up a bit. Also, I only used 1 green pepper, 1 onion, 1 red pepper. The veges were just enought for the amt. of tomatoes I used. I will keep this in my recipe box.
