This came out great! I added sugar snap peas because, well, I like those. I also doubled the sauce, and added a little ginger. Well be making this more often.

Banana Banana Bread

My other Banana bread recipe calls for sour cream and I didn't have any on hand so gave this one a try. This was easy to make and tasted great. I added some chopped walnuts just because I always have with Banana bread.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

This turned out well. I followed the recipe exactly, but I also loosely stuffed the bird with herbs: Parsley, Sage, Thyme, and Rosemary. Everyone loved the bird and the gravy made by the drippings was wonderfully flavorful (though a little salty). When I make again I will use a little less seasoning salt and perhaps sodium free bullion. Didn't take much extra time and added some flavor. Will make again for sure.

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

Can't say enough about this recipe, great results. I omitted the coffee, and just because of timing cooked it much longer (15 hours on low) but it was the most tender and delicious meat I have ever eaten. Easy and delicious.....doesn't get much better than this!

Feta Cheese Foldovers

Made these tonight for the Pats/Jags Playoff game with a few modifications. I used the garlic and herb feta as recommended by others, but how could I serve an app without meat in it during a playoff game? So I also bought some of the precooked "shortcuts", diced it up small, and mixed it in with the egg and feta. Everyone was amazed at these and they disappeared quick. Next time I may make them a little smaller, I made 18, 9 per sheet. They do take a little time to prep, though the second batch of 9 took less time than the first. Worth the work, but plan ahead.

Dry Rub for Ribs

Great rub that can be adjusted for your taste. Cut back on the pepper if you like sweet ribs. Add some pepper if you like spice. Leave it alone if you are in between. Will be added to my favorite list.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Simple but not sure why some of the steps are in there? Like many others I did the following. 1. Pasta and strain 2. Saute the garlic, butter and shrimp in a pan. 3. Season with salt, pepper, dash of cayenne, onion powder, parsley, orageno. 3. Toss in pasta. 4. Serve. No leftovers and everyone loved it.

Brown Sugar Smokies

These were ok. Made them for my SuperBowl party and while people liked them there were some leftover. For me this was bordering a 4 and a 5, but in the end I went with a 4 due to the prep time. Wrapping the bacon around each smokie was a bit time consuming. Worth trying if you like smokies.

Classic Spanish Sangria

My wife is a big fan of Sangria. Whenever we go to a restaurant that offers Sangria she has to try it. I made this for her and my mother as art of their Mother Day dinner I was preparing. I took the suggestion of many other reviewers and used Blackberry Merlot and half the amount of rum. They absolutely loved it. I had a glass myself and it was tasty. Will certainly make again.
