Hamburger Soup I

This was excellent as is. There was a slight sweetness to it (probably from the corn and carrots) that we really liked. Will keep as a regular recipe. Thanks for sharing

Best Spanish Rice

Wow! Excellent. I live in S. CA and could eat Mexican every day. I did add about 3/4 c. of frozen corn and used olive oil to brown the rice. Will make again and again. Thanks!

Greek Lemon Chicken Soup

I liked this. I go to Daphe's Greek restaurant here in S. CA and this is the closest recipe I have found. To make it even easier, I used 4 cans chicken broth, 2 cans water, 1 can cream of chicken, 2 tsp. chicken broth seasoning, and instant rice. I also added parsley and a small amount of green onions for color. Thanks for posting.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Very good cake that I received lots of compliments on. The only thing I changed was added 2 tsps. of almond extract in addition to the vanilla. Served with homemade whipped cream and strawberries. Haven't tried as toast but as others suggested, I can see this being real good. Thank you for sharing.

Peppermint Brittle

Very good and very easy. Took the suggestion of others and added a layer of chocolate on the bottom. Someone said it was like something they serve at Olive Garden. I don't know what they are referring to but that may mean something to others. Thanks for sharing.
