Korean Spicy Chicken and Potato (Tak Toritang)

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
I absolutely loved this dish. I did add about 1 cup more water because I love sauce over my rice. This was very spicy which my boyfriend and I absolutley love. To make this even healthier I used bone in legs and removed the skin. The bone in keeps the meat moist and delicious. I also added a few extra garlic cloves. This is a keeper.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
I love this pork chop recipe. I used boneless pork chops and I only cooked them for 25 min. Nice and perfectly juicy. I cut the soy sauce in half and actually, instead of soy sauce used Liquid Amino Acid which tastes like soy sauce but has a significantly lower amount of salt. I also used more lemon. We had this with brown rice and aspargus. Will keep this in the rotation.

Cajun Crawfish and Shrimp Etouffe

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
This is absolutely delicious. I had no fish stock on hand...but I had shrimps with heads on them. I peeled them and simmered the shells and the heads with onions, garlic, celery and salt for about 15 minutes. Would've simmered it longer but I was hungry. The flavor was amazing. I advise anyone who has the time to make their own stock to do so. It makes such a difference. I also cut the heat in half. I love heat and I couldn't imagine adding the other half. I had it over brown rice. This will definetly be a weekly dish at my house. Thanks for the delicious recipe!

Mexican Baked Fish

Delicious!!!! My VERY picky about fish and so since it had many great reviews I tried it. Did not change the recipe except I added a few dashes of hot sauce at the end since we love spicy food. This is a keeper and will make a few times a month.

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw II

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
I am also very picky about my coleslaw. This is the best one I've had so far. I also cut the sugar to 2T, didn't have any buttermilk so I just cut it out all together and added celery seed. This will be a common recipe in our house.
