My name is Barbara and I have been married for 11 years. We have an 8 year old son, Eric, a 3 year old little boy named Shawn and an 19 month old little girl named Katie! I am a stay at home mom and stay very busy. My greatest indulgence is steamy romance novels!! I love to cook dinners that all of my children eat and there are no leftovers! I love to make simple easy meals that go together quick with little clean up! I'd rather be in my gardens then cleaning the kitchen! That's why I love my slow cooker!! Every Friday night is home made pizza night. We are always trying different toppings and crsts. Everyone makes their favorite and we pig out in front of a good family movie!! Then we follow up with home made milk shakes! I save all my calories all week long for Friday nights!!! I cooked the entire Thanksgiving dinner for our entire extended family (26 in all) last year and everything turned out really good! I don't know who was more shocked--me or my husband!! I decided that for my oldest sons 5th birthday I was going to make a large Scooby Doo cake. Now I am not the best baker in the world, but I thought how hard is it to make a cake?!! Well it wouldn't come out of the pan and he said it looked more like a big brown blob than Scooby Doo!!! We went to Publix and bought one with no flowers!!
