I don't know what I did in error but it must have been something. I followed to recipe to a T and they turned out nothing like I expected. The mix was not moist, but kind of dry. They didn't rise and they were very bland. There wasn't much PB taste to them at all. The next half of the batch I tweaked and added some vanilla, more sugar and more PB plus a little oil. These turned out better but not something I'd make again. Thanks for the recipe though and I'm glad others have better luck then I did.

Excellent whole wheat buns! Will make again. Mine rose very nicely and were very homey tasting.

Ok I finally tried this tonight and it was fantastic! I followed the recipe to the letter and it was totally gone by the time dinner was over! Thanks for such a great recipe! I can see this being made again soon!

We make these all the time! I got the original recipe years ago from the back of the PB jar and am glad to see it here! It's so easy for kids to make as a first baking project as well. Every once in a while we switch it up by using crunchy peanut butter which make them super good! You can also add choco chips or toffee bits to them and even chopped almonds which make them so good. Perfect cookies every time for us peanut butter lovers! For those who don't like a peanut buttery cookie, then this is not the recipe for you.

Ok I am revising my review for this. The basic recipe here is good. But it is very, very basic. To me it tasted like bland cream with corn in it. It wasn't smooth or flavourful in anyway. Ok so let's fix it by adding some cubed potatoes, chicken stock and half the cream. Add some garlic and chopped parsley, a dollop of butter to make it smooth and thicken it ever so slightly with corn starch as well. Also substitute the 2 quarts of whipping cream with only 1 quart of it and 1 can of evaporated milk. The way this recipe is written is not tasty at all. It needs something more added. I will give it 2 stars for the basic recipe, but it definitely needs major tweeking.

Excellent biscuit! For a switch try adding some shredded cheese and minced chives to them! Delish!

Very good as a casserole. Although I have had traditional British bangers and mash and the sausage and gravy had a lot more spice. I don't like canned or package gravy and always make my own when ever possible. So when I make it again, I will def. get proper bangers sausage and spice up my gravy to make it a more traditional flavour . But all and all, this is definitely a great knock off on the traditional bangers and mash only in casserole style!

I don`t have a clue how the poster below got no taste from these muffins as I thought they were wonderful! I found them to be moist but not cakey moist. They were just right. I used fresh squeezed OJ and choco chips and they turned out wonderful! Thx for a great recipe!

Mmmmm! Perfect and delicious! Didn't change a thing and they were excellent! I am making the next batch now with toffee bits (skor toffee bits) and I'm sure they'll be the same great cookies! TY for a great recipe!

Made it EXACTLY the way recipe was written and they were fantastic! Wow! I am blown away at the taste and texture of these muffins. Definitely one of the best I've tasted! I wouldn't change a thing and will definitely make them again and again...until my family gets tired of pumpkin anyhow :) Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

Very disappointing. Made 1 exactly as stated in the recipe and it was flat, dense and absolutely tasteless. Tried it again and tweaked it as stated in the reviews. I will stick with my tried and true Company's Coming cottage cake recipe. I am sorry I wasted my time and ingredients.

This was very tasty! My family is so diverse when it comes to eating things so it's nice to find something everyone liked. The only change I made is to replace the flour with cornstarch. I never, ever use flour to thicken as it leaves such a pasty taste in soup that most times I can't get past the taste and it ruins the soup. But other then that, no subs and it was just perfect!

Very good recipe. I like to make it a couple days ahead and the flavors are so much better then bottled.

I honestly don't like a lot of "gunk" covering my steak. I like to taste the steak. This recipe let me taste the steak and not gunk it all up. The first time I made it exactly the way the recipe read and it was excellent. The next time I made it I added a teeny bit of horseradish to the butter and it was excellent as well. Even picky hubby who isn't a big fan of garlic thought it was good. Very nice recipe for those of us who like to taste the meat and not have it over seasoned the way so many make it nowadays!

These are extremely good! I don't know how people can say they are not moist and tasty. They are very moist and very tasty! I made 2 batches, the first adding nothing extra and the second adding cheese, minced green peppers and corn. Both were wonderful, even hubby ate them and he usually won't eat corn bread. So that's something right there :) You can add so many things to this recipe, it is definatly a keeper @ our house! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Wonderful and tasty. I omitted the lemon as I am allergic to citrus, but it was still fantastic with out it. Simmered the chops for 40 minutes on low to make sure they were tender. Turned out fab! Thanks for a great recipe!

Very good! Didn't change anything and it was really exceptional. Maybe next time I will add some cream corn or some minced peppers for a different flavor and see how that goes.
