About this Cook
Married for 9 years to a wonderful man and have four children (3 girls, 1 boy) a niece, and a godson. A big family.
My favorite things to cook
Anything that turns out tasty and my family raves about it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When we have "family" dinners, you are guaranteed to see everyone's favorite dish. My mother now, cooks my daughers and neice, and me and my sisters favorite dish everytime we go over for a dinner.
My cooking triumphs
I recently baked Banana Sour cream bread (from this website) and it was a big hit......
My cooking tragedies
Any baking......I can cook box cakes, pies, now banana sour cream bread but I can not figure out what I am doing wrong when it comes to making cakes from scratch......HELP! I would love to be in the family hall of fame, along with my mom and my grandmother and aunts, when it comes to cooking homemade cakes.

Grilled Corn on the Cob
The best corn on the cob grilled my family have ever had...the corn was the highlight of the bbq & I am a great bbq'er LOL but simple & easy to do...I did soak the corn in water with husks on & placed indirectly above the heat on the grill...allowed them to cook & turning every so often...very good..thanks for the recipe! (I thought I had done a review...I did these for the fourth of July)

Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole
Delish! I was looking for something different to have with the bake chicken & this dish was perfect.... I omitted the onions (just forgot to put them in)...I did do have 1/2 cup mayo & 1/2 cup sour cream per other reviewers...I seasoned the brocolli mixture with pepper, onion powder, & dash of celery seed (just for taste)...I also added parmesan cheese to the mixture...placed everything in the pan & sprinkled more parmesan & casserole cheese mix on top of the brocolli mix...I didn't have bread crumbs or crackers to sprinkle on top but the cheese melted & browned perfectly so it was not missed...my family asked me to make this again (there were no left overs)...Oh & I baked mines for about 40 mins...thanks for the recipe!

Amaretto
This is the easiest recipe ever & it taste just like Amaretto.....Next time I make it I will use imitation vanilla or just use a dap of the real vanilla...I used real vanilla this time & its a tad bit overpowering but the drink is still good....I got Xmas gifts now LOL Thanks for the recipe.
