When I was quite young I was making my first apple pie, and in the directions it stated it you are using dried apples to boil them first. My apples weren't wet so I proceeded to start boiling them. Luckily my mom came in and stopped me. Couldn't they have stated dehydrated!

BBQ Dry Rub
My husband LOVES this dry rub and mixes it up in double batches to rub on everything. Well not quite anything, but any sort of meat.

Supreme Apple Butter
This makes a great apple butter. I got about 7 jars per batch and used the apples I had which were really small, not crabapples but about that size. They had a flavor similar to Granny Smith.

Banana Sour Cream Bread
This turned out very moist and delicious! It will replace my default banana bread recipe. The sprinkling of cinnamon suger on top gave it a light crispness. Everyone loved it.
