I am Egyptian. I study at the American University in Cairo. Even though I'm 19 (goin' on 20) years old, I do have a hell lotta experience in the kitchen. I am a "mini-chef" if you like :D
My favorite things to cook
I really like cookin' anything as long as its fun. I like doin' new things all the time and testing new recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family cooking traditions involve garlic, vinegar and onions in almost any (and every) kind of food. I really like the taste as it is always rich in spices. Cinnamon, cloves, pods...yep we use 'em all in such a blend that always tastes so good.
My cooking triumphs
I have managed to throw parties feeding upto 20 persons. Other than that, I have come up with a couple of recipes that I have found interesting.
My cooking tragedies
...lets keep that aside. I'm just kidding, a good chef has nothin' to hide, I've ALWAYS failed in making good sweets (except buns). I never made any good cakes, cookies...etc. Take me to the saltier side of cooking and I know how to cook Indian, Chinese, Italian and Egyptian food. Oh yeah, also steaks and salads.
