I subbed in walnuts instead of raisins but other than that I followed it exactly. They were quite yummy and everyone loved them.

Crazy Cake

I was pretty boring and the consistency was weird. I could also plainly taste the baking soda. I would only make this again if I was making it for a vegan or someone with severe allergies. A little cream cheese icing did perk it up a bit. I also think that a handful of chocolate chips might help it out, too.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

I make the 'wimpy' version by using double green chilis versus jalepenos and halving the cayenne but I've made this several times and it is always a hit. My hubby prefers to add corn to his but I prefer it plain, either way it is good.

Chocolate Pudding with Meringue

I made it with splenda instead of sugar and it was still awesome! A bit of work for pudding, but very tasty. I also really liked the contrast between the thick pudding and the light meringue. Definitely a keeper!

French Silk Chocolate Pie I

I've never had Chocolate silk pie before so I have nothing to compare it to but it was very good. It wasn't soupy or grainy at all and it was more than enough for 8 individual pie shells. I followed a previous reviewers advice and iced the sides of the bowl while beating in the eggs and it was nice and fluffy and plenty voluminous enough to fill an entire pie shell all the way up.

These are delicious! I leave out the chocolate chips b/c for me, they are too chocolatey but most people love them. They are cakey (versus chewy) though, so just be forewarned

Dill and Butter Squash

I didn't have high hopes for this recipe seeing as dill isn't my favorite spice (herb?) but I had all of the ingredients, including squash that needed to be cooked ASAP, and it looked easy enough. Boy am I glad that I tried it because it was really good. Next time I'll try to lessen the amount of butter I use but I will definitely be making this again.

Belles Hamburger Buns

They taste ok but they are very dense and not exactly what I would consider a hamburger bun. I think that proofing the yeast would have helped them rise better and hence be a little less dense.

Mom's Good Cinnamon Rolls

These are great and not too difficult to make. I did follow some of the previous viewers suggestions and added way more cinnamon and sugar to the filling and rolled it out as one log and then cut the rolls. Also, I added powdered sugar/milk glaze to the tops when they cam out of the oven.

Baked Flan

Yum! Everyone (8 people) all loved it! It is creamy and slightly creme brulee-ish. It is not as sweet as traditional Cuban flan but is still plenty sweet. As for it turning brown as some previous reviewers mentioned, that is normal. When you turn it out onto a plate that becomes the bottom no one sees anyhow. Also, when you take it our of the oven it is a very soft set which is also normal. It firms up considerably once completely cool which takes several hours (at least 5 or 6) in the refrigerator.

Super Duper Chocolate Cookies

These were really yummy! I had some trouble with rolling the dough into balls as it was very sticky but I didn't refrigerate it as long as recommended so it was probably my fault.
