Frosted Banana Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
These were delicious. I thought they would have tasted better with butter cream frosting though instead of cream cheese frosting. They turned out nice and moist but still dense at the same time. I will make them again sometime. Thank you!

Green Beans in Tomato Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
Thank you for posting this recipe, but these beans didn't really have the flavor I was looking for. I followed everything to a "T", but there was something missing and I couldn't put my finger on it. We ate these, but I wont make them again. Hubby and me both agreed this was 3 stars.

Creamy Caramel Flan

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
I probably wont make this again. It was NOTHING NOTHING like flan. It was pretty much just a flan flavored cheesecake. It tasted fine, but not at all what I was looking for. If your wanting actual flan than look elsewhere. The title is all wrong....again, it is cheesecake NOT flan.

Mormon Champagne

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
This was very nice and simple. Its easier to make than stirring the frozen juice together. I just dumped everything in a pitcher like the previous reviewer did and served at my open house for all my potential buyers. The only thing I changed was that I used welch's white grape peach juice instead of plain white grape juice. For the soda I used Fresca. Thanks for this non alcoholic champagne. It was yummy!

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
wonderful! I followed the exact recipe and I wouldnt change a thing. Use golden delicious for a little more chunk in your sauce, or macintosh for a more mushy sauce. I prefer golden delicious and small chunks in my applesauce so that is what I use. My whole family raved over this. Perfect served with porkchops and mac and cheese!!

Greek-alicious Pasta Salad

This was just okay for me. I made exactly as is except I added olives. This had so many great reviews they all cant be wrong, so I am sure it is just my taste preference as to why I didn't go crazy over this dish. It is worth a try but I probably wont make again. Thank you for sharing though.

Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
this was the perfect punch. Full of fruity flavors. I used gingerale, and cut the sugar down to a cup. Everyone loved it and there was not one drop left after my party. I do recommend that you freeze the slush atleast 24hours before you plan to serve because it takes a while for the liquid in the gllon bag to freeze up. Thanks for sharing I will be making this again.

White Chocolate Gorp

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
i thought this was really good just super sweet. I added 2 cups pecan halves along with 2 cups of dry roasted peanuts instead of cashews. I also used 2lbs almond bark not white chocolate (dont know if the sweetness is less if using real white choc.) next time i will try with real choc. but overall a great treat to make with the kids. thank yu for sharing!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2009
I made this with Jays pizza crust (which is AWESOME bytheway). I thought this pizza was pretty good, I used hooters hot wing sauce and rubed olive oil and sprinkled garlic powder over the dough before baking it on stone. Next time I am going to try making my own blue cheese dressing because I think the pizza would taste better this way. Thanks for sharing this recipe Nelson!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

This crust was so awesome. It was very fluffy and soft. Way better than anything you would get at pizza hut. This will be the only pizza crust I will ever make. Thanks so much Jason!

Tangy Barbecue Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2009
I thought these were so delicious! I used jack daniels original bbq sauce, and left out the celery (personal preference). My husband LOVED these especially topped with creamy coleslaw (bottom bun, meat, coleslaw, top bun = YUM). We will be making these for years to come. Thank you so much!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2009
this was really really good. I served it for the first time last thanksgiving and have made it a few times since. I took another op's suggestion and put blue cheese crumbles in it with pine nuts instead of almonds.....awesome! Be sure to mix it often if serving to a crowd because the cranberries all fall to the bottom. Thanks so much, this is a for sure keeper.

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
This was pretty good. I followed the directions exactly as written. The cooking time was perfect. I would not follow some of the reviewers who say to flaten your chicken breasts before cooking. If you do this your chicken will be dry because A) your squeezing out natural juices that keep the meat moist, and B) because they will end up completly cooking on the stove because of the thin meat and then drying out in the oven. Meat should be raw in the middle by the time it enters the oven. 15 min in oven without flattening meat, made me some juicy moist chicken. Thanks!

Cinnamon Ice Cream

This is very good but so so rich. More rich than your average ice cream. The cinnamon flavor goes awesome with crushed waffle cones or served in waffle bowls. Highly recommend it this way :)

Cream of Mushroom Soup I

I thought it was too mushroomy, and not soupy enough for me. I probably wont make this again, but if I do I will double everything but the shrooms, and flour. But thank you karena for sharing your recipe.
