About this Cook
I am a 23 years old, and attending school which, sadly occupies most of my life right now. I am getting married in December. I love cooking new things, and have been cooking since I was like 10 years old. I love it when people ask for a recipe for something I made. It makes me feel good to see peole enjoying my cooking.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking, I love using the slow cooker (it makes my house smell so good), I also love making diferant types of salads, pasta salads, and dips. The only thing I really havent cooked before is meat. I havent really experimented with steaks, or grilling. So if anyone has some good advice on cooking and grilling fish, steak, chicken, roast, any meat basically, it would be awesome. I need to learn.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family always cooks the traditional stuff apple and pumpkin pies for thanksgiving and christmas. And my mom has this to die for stuffing I will have to post before thanksgiving rolls around, because I have never seen or tasted anything like hers. It is the BEST!! My mom also theese amazing rolls that she makes. They take a day and a half to make but are well worht the time. I will also post the recipe for that soon.
My cooking triumphs
Just making something that tastes great.
My cooking tragedies
making something that turns out flat or not good.

Frosted Banana Bars
These were delicious. I thought they would have tasted better with butter cream frosting though instead of cream cheese frosting. They turned out nice and moist but still dense at the same time. I will make them again sometime. Thank you!

Green Beans in Tomato Sauce
Thank you for posting this recipe, but these beans didn't really have the flavor I was looking for. I followed everything to a "T", but there was something missing and I couldn't put my finger on it. We ate these, but I wont make them again. Hubby and me both agreed this was 3 stars.

Creamy Caramel Flan
I probably wont make this again. It was NOTHING NOTHING like flan. It was pretty much just a flan flavored cheesecake. It tasted fine, but not at all what I was looking for. If your wanting actual flan than look elsewhere. The title is all wrong....again, it is cheesecake NOT flan.
