Recipe was pretty good. I followed other reviewers and skipped the tomato sauce and even then it was very thin. It was a lot of stew, thankfully I have a five quart crockpot, it just fit. I also added browning and seasoning sauce to it because of all the flour I added lightened it up too much.

The taste is very good but the ingredients make the dough the consistency of a rock. I added an egg and enough applesauce to make it more pliable. Oyherwise this would be a 4 star.

A bit too sweet. I had the bread in the fridge for about 10 hours (overnight) and it was too soggy. Next time I'll cut the sugar back and leave in fridge for an hour.
