Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler
This is a keeper! Just made it tonight. Last week I tried a recipe from this site but the crust was cakey. This one is excellent. Crust recipe is yummy, slightly sticky but just add a little flour when you notice it's too sticky as you roll it. I took reviewers advice of: Increase crust amount. I made 1.5 X, cut sugar by half (I don't like extra sweet dessert), cut orange juice by half, increase cornstarch to 3 TBSP (instead of 1 TBSP), Brush eggwash on top layer dough to make it look nicer. 4 stars as is, 5 stars after modifications. Will make again for sure.

Southern Peach Cobbler
From some of the negative reviews, I was afraid this would turn out wet/soupy. I didn't have that problem and it looked good when it was done. However...the batter wasn't crunchy; it was cakey and too sweet even after reducing the sugar from 1 cup to 3/4 cup. It was a simple recipe to try though. I will keep looking for THE peach cobbler recipe since hubby loves peach cobbler.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
Just made it 3 days ago. excellent taste and very moist. Coworkers, hubby, and 2 toddlers loved it. Followed reviewers advice, 1/2 C apple sauce and 1/2 C oil. Reduced sugar to 2.25 cup (half of that is brown sugar) since reviewers said it's too sweet. Perfect sweetness for me. No other changes. Only enough for 2 loaves of 3x8 pans. Still soggy in middle at 50 min, so kept adding 10 min, and ended up baking for 1hr 20 min. The top was a little crusty right after but was perfect the next morning. Will make again for sure.
