great, simple cake. I didnt use the icing because we dont like coconut, instead served with a dollop of yogurt. Got rave reviews, thanks for sharing!!

Empire Cookies

I made these a couple days in advance for a party we were having over the holidays. These cookies did not see that party, as everyone ATE THEM as soon as they were done. Fantastic recipe, although I wish there were some way to drizzle the icing so it doesnt drip off the cookies so much.

Wonderful recipe. I added a little more confectioners sugar to stiffen it up a bit, and a little more vanilla extract, and it turned out just perfectly.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Fantastic. Usually when I make cookies, they fall in the middle, and are really REALLY crunchy towards the edges. I've dubbed this my idiot-proof cookie recipe. I did one thing extra; before adding the brown sugar, I dissolved it in just a little bit of water. Turned out perfectly.

Excellent recipe. Easy to make, and I can whip them up quickly if guests are coming. They go excellently with soup as a sub for crackers, and they turn out so light and delicious you can just eat them on their own.
