About this Cook
I am a bibliophile, take 4 ballet classes per week and buy tons of antiques! I love walking in cemeteries with my dogs.
My favorite things to cook
I cook a variety of foods. Almost all my recipes are low fat and healthy except for Holidays where I go all out with all the butters and sweets!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I make a wonderful turkey stock which I use for the best gravy ever and stuffing.
My cooking tragedies
Many I am sure over the years.

World's Best Lasagna
This is simply the BEST! You are really missing out if you leave out the fennel. The fennel makes this the best, a delicious Italian flavor. Do NOT leave the fennel out!! My husband thinks this is the greatest lasagne he has ever tasted.

Glazed Meatloaf II
I followed the recipe exactly but used only 1/8th cup brown sugar as I know the suggested amount would be too much. The sauce was WAY too sweet still! If I had added the full amount of brown sugar the meatloaf would not of been edible. If you like candied meat, this is the recipe!

Heavenly Halibut
Heavenly and then some! I made this last night with fresh Halibut from Washington! We easily have the BEST fresh fish up here! And the results were superb! This was the best Halibut I have ever had and could easily be a seafood dish that you would find in a top notch restaurant. I did not change a thing! I just wish there was more of the cheesy sauce left to add over the top of the mashed potatoes I made as a side dish for the Halibut! Thank-you for such a great recipe! Definitely a keeper!
