About this Cook
I have been happily married to my prince charming for over 7 years. I have two little princesses and I am a contently stay-at-home mom, which means I do absolutely everything but stay home. I love to cook and experiment with new recipes or create my own. I get rave reviews from my desserts and appetizers.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are asian cuisine, like rice paper egg rolls and pork fried rice as well as italian favorites like lasagne and pesto gnocchis, which my oldest daughter and my husband can't get enough of.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking traditions will always be the during the holidays, such as Christmas and Easter, when the whole family cooks traditional favorites, like sweet potato and pecan dessert, green bean casserole and waldorf salad.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumphs would have to be my desserts. I crave new creations and love wowing my family and friends with the outcome of chocolate ganache and white chocolate cheesecakes.
My cooking tragedies
My cooking tragedies would have to reside from my beginning years of cooking. Rice was a toughy and cooking vegetables that didn't look like they came out of a sauna. Cooking with pork still has its obstacles with maintaining its juiciness and texture, but just something else I can look forward to working on.
