4 stars as a compromise.. my bf loved it but I just thought it was so-so. I'm not a fan of tomatos so I never have any fresh ones, so I used a can of diced tomato with garlic and onion instead. Also used turkey bacon since that's what I had on hand. I'll keep this on file because my bf ate a huge second helping and was smiling all thru dinner.

My bf raved over this recipe. He's a seafood lover and I'm not but even I have to admit, these were wonderful. I doubled the marinade, using basil, garlic and oregano tomato sauce. No fresh basil in the house so I added 1/2 Tbs of dried basil instead. I was leary of the marinade taste so I made alfredo with the pasta instead of heating the sauce for a topper.. sure wish I'd believed the reviews and stuck with the marinade to top the pasta. Oh well.. next time! Thanks for the recipe!!

These were good but seemed to be missing something. I'll definately make them again and add some onion and garlic to the meat as it browns. I increased the water to 2 3/4 cup and simmered 2 c. instant brown rice in the taco sauce/meat combo. The filling made 12 rather than 10 rolls and extra filling that I put into the fridge for lunch tomorrow. Love that I now have a meal in the freezer for another day!
