Both guinea pigs in my house liked them a lot - I can't say as I did not have any. I added vanilla as recommended and a sprinkle of cinnamon to each pancake before the initial flip. The recipe as stated made 10 medium pancakes. We'll see if they reheat well.

5 Minute - Candy Bar Pie

Two of the three of us liked it a lot - I was on the cusp - I insisted we use 'cooked' pudding versus instant and that may be part of the problem. It just really didn't do much for me. I think 'if' we try it again we will use choc pudding instead of vanilla - and maybe a different candy bar - or more pieces or something. It was a dessert but not hugely special - doesn't hold together well nor get better overnight.

Chicken and Bow Tie Pasta

We used peas instead of broccoli but one thought there wasn't enough sauce - the other thought there was too much pasts (which translates too nor enough sauce). I would season the chicken more while cooking. We cubed instead of shredding. Second day even better - thanks for a good stick to your ribs meal! Makes tons!!

Herbed Green Bean Casserole

It was a very nice option instead of old stand-by - green bean casserole with mushroom soup. I'm not a mushroom eater so this will be our new casserole for Thanksgiving! Thanks!

Home-Made Cream of Chicken Soup

I used it to "help" the Weight Watchers soup recipe to be more tolerable and this was wonderful. It enriched a basic calorie concerned recipe a lot and was tasty on it's own too. Thanks much Holly!!

French Toast Casserole

Sunday recipe time - it was o.k. - would have been potentially MUCH better had the cook read the reviews on the liquid factor- it needs less moisture or more bread to sop it up better. It reminded me of a custard too but it seemed a wee bit rawish - which kind of grossed us all out. We did eat it however....maybe next time...if there is a next time, less soupy mix added and more cinnamin/sugar sprinkles - throughout. Thanks...

Green Bean Cheddar Chicken

It was tastier than expected - but the chicken could use some seasonings before plopping them in the casserole to bake. Otherwise overall is was pretty good. This does not re-heat well AT ALL.

Rice A Roni™ Salad

Wonderful - even before the mayo was added we were all eating it like crazy out of the bowl - it was like chicken fried rice only much better! The rice-hater in the house (also anti-mayo) scarfed it up.....Once mayo went in and was thoroughly chilled she would not touch it. I took it for a potluck - made too much - and it had a dismal response - sorta seemed slow at the table. But the housemates and I loved it! We will make again and even eat it on the warm side without the mayo.... Yum Yum Yum! Thanks Laurie!!!

Flatlander Chili

We cut the chili powder down to 2 tsps from 1/4 cup for the more tender tummies in the house. Omitted the green pepper due to preference. Also added 1 can of white beans. It had enough kick for the tougher but still a wee bit too much for the lighter-weight. Overall very tasty! I added soft cheese to mine - others used crackers and bread - we all had two bowls! These Wisconsin flatlanders will make it again! Thanks!

Chicken Enchilada Casserole II

We modified this quite a bit - the beans were voted out - majority rules - but it turned out nice and was yummy. Second day didn't hold up quite as well for us - but we liked it enough on day one to make it again.

Chicken Tortilla Casserole

Thought it was pretty good - the uncovered chicken pieces were very dried out. Chicken could use some sort of seasoning to give the chicken a less bland flavor. The 'juicy' spots were better but lacked punch - and I used medium salsa and tossed in green chiles. Would punch it up a little more with taco seasoning on chicken. Will likely make it again.

Eileen's Meatloaf

Unfortunately we were all disappointed - we thought it came out a little gooey (seemingly from the bread crumbs) in the loaf itself. I will say the edges were a little better - where it may have dried out more during baking?!? Not likely to try again...and not better the next day. Sorry!

Baked Spaghetti Corn
