Chicken Pot Pie IX
Excellent. I added 1C of corn to mine, just 'cause. Tasted wonderful! Thanks.

Cream of Tomato Soup with Pesto
I used vegetable broth instead of chicken, added about 1/4C parmesan cheese to the pot, more like a 1/4C or so of basil pesto and coarsely crushed black pepper. It was pretty runny for a tomato soup, so I added 1TB of cornstarch mixed with 1TB of water to thicken it up. Pretty good.

D's Famous Salsa
I didn't have green chiles so I used a whole jalapeno, half seeded. I love cilantro so added 1/2 cup. I also added a tsp of chili powder because it was definitely missing something without it. We liked it at this point, but my teenage son said he thought it still needed Hatch's diced tomatoes and chiles, so I added a heaping TBS of that. It was really good even before we doctored it to our tastes. Thanks!
