Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini
AMAZING recipe. This is our favorite on this site!! This has been our fall football staple for 2 years now. It's 5 stars exactly as it is...no changes necessary. Some things we've learned: It tastes better with fresh tomatoes verses canned. To peel your tomatoes, drop them in boiling water for a minute. The skins will peel right off. We find it easier to buy ground sweet italian sausage from the meat counter, since it saves a step. Parmesan at the end is a must! :) ENJOY!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup
Doctor it up! I've made this recipe for over a year and passed it along by request. It's a definite 5 star, especially for your time invested. However, you MUST add seasoning. This recipe gives you the base. I would rate it 2-3 stars without additions. My suggestions...substitute 1/2 broth with Cream of Chicken soup. Rinse your black beans well! Add cumin and chili powder...don't be shy. It gives your soup depth. Add cilantro and garlic powder, if available. Grab a rotiserie chicken from your grocery. I wouldn't expect a 5 star recipe to have canned chicken, would you? Serve with chunked avocados, cheese, a squeeze of lime and whatever else your heart desires. Good luck!

Dressed Up Brussels Sprouts
I made this for my fiance and his roommate. They went nuts over them. I rated this a 5 star since it was delicious and super easy! Also, I used left over bloody mary mix instead of the tomato-vegetable juice cocktail.
