About this Cook
I've always loved cooking but have rarely given much consideration toward healthier eating. After several surgeries and gastric problems, I've decided to commit to learning new ways to prepare healthy meals and that entails. My husband wants to lose weight as well, so this is a win-win. Taking baby steps, but have already found I'm feeling better! Am looking forward to the journey.
My favorite things to cook
Spaghetti sauce, chili, chicken and dumplings, tilapia, pork tenderloin, roast beef and veggies.

Pork Chops with Sour Cream and Mushroom Sauce
Fantastic! It reheated wonderfully the next day for lunch. Did add some extra spices, but it would have been good as is. This is a keeper!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Mom's Zucchini Bread
What a wonderful recipe! Made four loaves and gave to friends who all loved it! I added some nutmeg and brown sugar to the second batch and that was good too. Best zucchini bread recipe I've ever come across. Thank you!
