I love to cook everything, but my favorite thing is baking. I am a true believer that everything i bake needs to be made from scratch (no tubed cookie dough). My dad is a professional chef and i grew up in his bakery. Pies, cookies, baklava, cakes, pretty much everything, even baked donuts and nothing was pre-made. All from scratch. Everytime i peel an apple now, i remember when i used to go into the bakery every weekend and peel hundreds of apples until my hands got prunie. When i was 10 years old i made a cake all from scratch that turned out so well that the recipe was the staple cake at my dads bakery for years. I can cook really complex recipes without issue but i burn grilled cheese every time:)
