Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker
As advised by other reviews, I increased the amount of ketchup and added a splash of bottled bbq sauce. The meat was very tender, although as I was led to expect from other reviewers, a bit dry. All of us around the table loved the flavor nonetheless.

Split Pea and Ham Soup II
Very pleased with this recipe, my first time to make pea soup. I followed suggestions to cook ham bone in my crock pot and then used the stock for the soup base, adding sauteed garlic and carrots with the split peas. A pleaser at lunch today.

Scottish Oat Scones
I love these scones, particularly with the following modifications: I use 3/4 cup whole wheat flour & 3/4 cup unbleached flour, raisins instead of currants (usually what I have on hand), and add 1/2 tsp. (or more if you like!) of cinnamon. Super easy recipe. Yumm!
