Brown Sugar Meatloaf

This has become our house recipe for meatloaf. I cut the sugar as recommended, but otherwise, I follow the recipe. It's great!

Blueberry Pie

This was awesome. I did up the blueberries to 3 pints (6 cups), because the crust just didn't look "full". I used the 5 Tbsp of cornstarch like the other reviews recommended. I kept the sugar the same and the same baking time. It was really delicious. It was a little runny, but we just kept that sauce for ice cream topping!

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Thank goodness this site has a converter on it! I downsized the amount for 12 people and got delicious results! I even had a couple of folks ask for the recipe! (My ego loves being able to say "I made it!")

Easy Ice Cream Cake

I took this to my supper club for dessert -- I felt like I was cheating becuase this was so easy. I have to tell you that EVERYONE asked for the recipe! This was a huge hit and looked really elegant when sliced. I'm also sure that a diet version would be great too.

A Very Popular BBQ Sauce

I'd cut back to about 1 cup of sugar, but this was wonderful and so easy. I really liked that it didn't have to cook in advance. Thanks for sharing -- this is a KEEPER.

Best Carolina BBQ Meat Sauce

Apple Pork Chops

I found this recipe in the AllRecipes CookBook -- which I really love. I chose this one because I love pork and apples together, and it had an overall 4-star rating. The overall flavor of the dish was pleasant enough, but the apples were mushy, the "sauce" was more like a simmering liquid, and the meat was very tough and dry. I don't know how it could have been changed to make the meat tender- maybe just letting everything simmer in the pan until the apples were soft. In my opinion, I won't be making this one again.

Pumpkin Bread IV

WOW! This was wonderful! It's extremely easy, fragrant and moist. I followed the recommendations of others and used 1/2 applesauce with the oil and half whole wheat flour with the all-purpose. I didn't have any mix ins, so I will add those next time. I can only imagine how great this will be with pecans and raisins. I made the recipe for 2 loaves, and it will be something we make over and over again!

Baked Pork Chops I

Very yummy -- I used a good drinking wine and had to do an emergency substitution of cream of chicken soup, but it was wonderful. I used very large pork loin chops from Costco and the edges were perfect, and the middle was a little dry. I think next time I will cook the chops for a total time of 1 hour, instead of 1 1/2 to compensate. My picky husband told me, "You can make these again...". High praise from him!

Chicken Tetrazzini IV

I loved this - great use of leftover chicken and pasta. In fact, I cleaned out my refrigerator with this one and dined like a Queen. Just for the record, my son told me that it was definately good, but "not briliant".

Super Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

I followed the recomendations of others and used onion soup mix instead of onion. (I was out of red onion). I also only had regular chicken soup, so I added chicken seasoning as the "herbs". It was still delicious, an super easy. I'm sure this will be a crockpot family favorite.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

I cooked the chicken according to the directions and it was dry. I think I'll try it again with lower cooking time. Truly, I get better results and a moister bird "blasting it" -- 3 1/2 lb bird, 45 minutes, 450 degrees.
