Fresh Pear Pie
Very good, mild flavor. I followed the recipe except for omitting lemon. Sprinkling the spice mixture over each layer worked fine for me. I used Pillsbury refrigerated pie crusts and 4 very large ripe Bartlett pears.

Veggie Ranch Pizza
My husband (carnivore) and I (vegetarian) eat alot of pizza. I made this recipe to add some variety to our pizza routine. We agreed that it is not a great way to eat pizza, but it is a pretty good way to eat cauliflower. The combination of vegetables is good, but the ranch sauce is overpowering.

Broccoli Cheese Soup
Tasty! I think the garlic powder is a little too much - next time I'll make it 2 tsp. If you don't have corn starch, you can add instant potato flakes to thicken the soup; it's really easy to add them a little at a time until you get the consistency you desire.
